China National Petroleum Corporation (China National Petroleum corporation, CNPC) and the State Oil Company of Uzbekistan "Uzbekneftegaz" will create a joint venture that will build and operate a branch D pipeline China - Central Asia in Uzbekistan.

This branch will supply natural gas from Central Asia to China of 85 billion cubic meters per year.

In addition, CNPC and "Uzbekneftegaz" announced plans to build a chemical plant on the basis of the Uzbek gas plant in Mubarek. The new facility will produce polyethylene and liquefied natural gas.

Recall that in January-March 2014, the net profit of the company amounted to Petro China 34250000000 yuan. This is 4.9% less than the same period in 2013 an increase in crude to PetroChina was 2.3% on an annualized basis - up to 360 million barrels of oil equivalent. The volume of production of diesel fuel in the company fell by 0.2%, while its sales - 15.4%. In this case, the company\'s revenue from activities in gas and pipeline unit jumped 26% compared to January-March of last year and reached 1.4 billion yuan. In refining profit Petro China reached the level of 3.5 billion yuan in the first three months of this year.
